NBPD hiring domestic violence advocate

The New Bedford Police Department is hiring a domestic violence advocate to work nights, offering support and resource information to victims of domestic violence. 

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED equivalent; experience working with victims of domestic violence; or any combination of experience and education. Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with victims and families of domestic abuse; ability to work in a team setting with the police and resource coordinator and must be computer literate.
