NBPD Swears in Four New Officers
We welcomed four of our newest officers as they officially took the oath to serve the City of New Bedford. Please join us in congratulating Officers Kevin Crespo, Aylemnis Torres, Ryan Saunders, and Jacob Days as they begin their careers with the NBPD.
We would also like to thank City Councilors Brian Gomes and Shawn Oliver, along with Martin Bentz, Chair of the City of New Bedford Human Rights Commission, for joining us to recognize this important milestone.
Today’s ceremony also carried added significance as it took place on Peace Officers Memorial Day, a day dedicated to honoring the brave law enforcement officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. As we welcome the next generation of officers into our ranks, we remain mindful of those who came before them and gave everything in service to their communities.
