Firearms Bureau License/Renewal Delays

Currently the New Bedford Police Department Firearms Division is experiencing much higher than usual volume for firearms licenses and renewals. There is a 4 to 6 month backlog for appointments. If you need an appointment to renew or apply for a license, please keep this wait in mind in order to avoid a lapse in your license.
